Dream

I dream of worlds with many things
dragons, and elves, sorcerers, kings
names I know, of their kith and kin,
their horse, their servants, and
on and on.
Many thing I see in my mind, real
but for a moment of time, the difference
only in that I am not free, to live
there in those worlds I see.
Instead imprisoned I remain
trapped in a hell with one name
forged in the bitter hearts of others
just the same, who do not see
do no dream
and do not know of the things
within me.
