Literature Text

I ache for a moments peace
underneath the darkened skies.
I long for a gentle repose
where soft words murmur blissfully
and no more voices harshly critique
or spread un-worthly lies.
I feel a need to be loved, and to
give that back ten fold
I dwell under the willow trees
and think of stories deep
and old.
I sing no more than I must
of sorrow in my soul
I dream of moments
flickering
all too brief in my mind
where joy is known
and I find somewhere
to belong
with others
of my kind.
Those makers,
writers, poets,
dreamers, shapers,
lovers, feelers,
singers
all who let
me know
just what joys
there are to
have, and
what knowledge
of worth, there is
to hold.
Not sure really, a momentary flicker in my mind, of a world where I belong.

yeah, we need more people to belong with. the world has too many people in it so it's hard to find those few 'makers', all scattered about.
