Found a dog.

We (me and my fiancee) found a dog. He's a sweetheart, gentle, patient, loving. He has a bit of a limp, and it looks like someone dumped him. (He was fixed and his tags are missing--but he's HAD tags at some point.)

I can't keep him. I so wish I could, but I can't, not with my living arrangements and neither can my girl. He's adorable. Wish me luck finding a place for him--he'd be a great friend for a decade or more to someone. (He's middle aged, most likely, but he's still got some vroom in him.)

Whatever you do, don't give him to the pound. Maybe put an ad on Craigslist. That's how my brother got his dog.

Oh, so sweet. I feel this particular pain acutely. I am going to have to get rid of my own darling canine, due to circumstances greatly beyond my control and explained in due time.
